Got a question?

We are getting married in Wales – will you photograph our wedding?

[symple_box color=”grey” text_align=”left” width=”100%” float=”none”] Yes, absolutely! We cover weddings across Manchester,  Cheshire, and Merseyside, but are happy to travel to Wales and the Lake District.  Within these areas we don’t charge for mileage expenses.  Please ask us for a quote if you are planning a wedding abroad.

How much time do we need for photography?

[symple_box color=”grey” text_align=”left” width=”100%” float=”none”] Our approach is to fit around your day and photograph things as they happen.   We’ll be there with both of you before the service capturing your preparations.  After the service a couple of clear hours before your wedding breakfast will  allow you time to mingle with your guests, and we’ll be there capturing informal shots and organising any group shots you may want.  We also like to spend a little time with you on your own ( and you may be ready for a breather!)  to get some gorgeous couple shots.  This might be towards the end of your drinks reception or after your wedding breakfast, it depends on your day so we’ll talk it through nearer the time.  (It’s always worth checking with your venue to see how flexible they can be about timings of drinks and meals so that you get to have the day that you want)

Do we get to keep all the photos you take?

[symple_box color=”grey” text_align=”left” width=”100%” float=”none”] Yes, all our clients receive a CD/USB stick.  Every wedding is an individual occasion and our priority as professional photographers  is quality,  so there is no standard number of photographs that we take, but from a full day’s shoot we promise you around 500 beautiful  images.

How many formal group shots do you take?

[symple_box color=”grey” text_align=”left” width=”100%” float=”none”] Its your day, so its really up to you.  If you want lots of formal shots we are happy to take them, but remember that organising groups of people takes time (especially once they have a drink in their hand!) and will leave less time for more informal photography.  Think about the kind of pictures that are important to you, and what you want to remember about your day.

Do we get to  choose the photos for the album?

[symple_box color=”grey” text_align=”left” width=”100%” float=”none”] Yes, definitely.  We ask you to choose your favourite photos, and then we design pages around them.  We also talk to you about the design, and when the pages are ready you will be able to approve them before they are sent for printing.   Have a look at our  album  pages for more information and ideas.

How long does it take to get our  album?

[symple_box color=”grey” text_align=”left” width=”100%” float=”none”] It depends on you!  After your wedding day we get to work on processing your photographs, and two weeks later you will have an online gallery to make your album choices from.  Some couples get back to us with choices straight away, others take longer (the record was two years!!).  We’ll then design your album and send you a draft for approval/changes.  Once we have final approval, your album is in the hands of the album makers, and the companies we work with have turnaround times of 4-6 weeks.

Can you promise us sunshine?

[symple_box color=”grey” text_align=”left” width=”100%” float=”none”] Unfortunately no, but whatever the weather brings, you will have a fantastic day – and we’ll be ready for it!  Not all the photos on this site were taken in glorious summer sunshine, but with creativity and our technical expertise we can promise you beautiful results that you will love.
